Vision
As county commissioner, I will NOT support raising county taxes, our homes values are taking care of that all by their selves. For safety reasons, I plan on working on better access in neighborhoods that only have one way in and one way out. And I plan on working closely with our sheriffs department to get better resources for our law enforcement officers.

Conservative! Serving Bastrop County over 21 years. Third generation Texan. When I moved here from NE Texas in 2002, I fell in love with our small town and I got to know many new friends right away. I've donated and helped out with many local organizations over the years including the annual Sportsman's Banquet benefitting the Children's Education Foundation, The Festival of Trees benefitting the Children's Advocacy Center and the annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet.

The best fit for Bastrop County
Currently serving my second term on the Bastrop County WCID#2 board of directors. Having served for the last 6 years, this makes me the only candidate that has experience in Bastrop County road budgeting and construction, Bastrop County employee management and Bastrop County infrastructure budgeting. The budget here on the WCID is larger than the county commissioners and it has more employees to manage that the county commissioner does. So I guess I'm saying that I'm MORE than qualified to do the job!
